Nafsiyat

Social Media

Nafsiyat's social media strategy aims to achieve two key goals - raising awareness about their work and building a community of supporters who can contribute towards fundraising efforts. As part of this ongoing project, my role is to curate a content calendar that includes significant dates and events relevant to our target audiences, such as religious festivals and historical occasions. I then create engaging visuals and compelling copy that reflect these themes while also incorporating current events.

Thanks to the success of this project, Nafsiyat has experienced significant growth in its social media following, with Instagram and Twitter followers increasing by 40% within a year.

Website

Before the website redesign, Nafsiyat had many issues with its site.

They were being constantly hacked by people adding links to their site for pharmaceuticals, which led to them spending a lot on additional security that didn’t work. A fundamental flaw of WordPress sites is that if they are not updated frequently, they are susceptible to hacking - a problem not found on Squarespace.

They also needed help with site navigation, with their menu options only being shown as the user journeys further through the site.

I worked with Nafsiyat to establish their KPIs, such as the navigation, colour scheme, refer and donate buttons and referral form and achieved a site that is both functional and beautiful.
